The Evidence Division can only release property with prior authorization from the Case Officer/Detective, State Attorney’s Office, and/or a Return of Property court order.

For Faster Service

  • Case Number: Have your case number ready. An Evidence Technician will verify that your property is cleared for release, and an appointment will then be scheduled for Wednesday or Thursday between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • ID Required: Bring a government-issued ID for identification.
  • Third-Party Pick-Up: You may authorize someone else to retrieve your property with a notarized letter designating them as your representative. The original notarized letter must be presented at the appointment—copies are not accepted.

To retrieve personal property, schedule an appointment with the Evidence Division at 120 SW Thanksgiving Ave., Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
