Port St. Lucie Animal Control invites residents to take part in an easy and affordable way to protect their pets at an upcoming Low‑Cost Rabies and Microchip Drive‑Thru Clinic.
The event will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 in the City Hall parking lot and offers a convenient drive‑through experience for families looking to keep their pets healthy and safe. Vehicles can enter from Airoso Boulevard.
The drive‑thru event is open to Port St. Lucie residents only. Participants must provide proof of residency, such as a driver's license and utility bill.
The event is limited to 200 pets, and no walk-ups will be accepted.

For $20, pet owners will receive a package that includes:
- One‑year rabies vaccination
- Microchip
- City pet license
Dogs and cats must be at least 6 months old.
Dogs must arrive leashed, and cats must be secured in carriers. For staff safety, dogs will be muzzled at the time of appointment.
Port St. Lucie Animal Control is partnering with Caring Fields Feline Sanctuary, Operation SOS and the Humane Society of St. Lucie County.
