Junior Police Academy

Enroll your child in the Junior Police Academy, a unique and exciting program hosted by the Port St. Lucie Police Department in partnership with the PSL Police Athletic League! Open to boys and girls aged 12-14, this program offers hands-on experiences and activities led by active police officers.

Activities: Junior cadets will participate in police-related training, including marching, team-building exercises, land navigation, crime scene investigations, K9 and SWAT demos, and more!

Dates:

• Parent Information Night: May 28, 2025, at Port St. Lucie Police Department, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984
• Week 1: June 9–13, 2025, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Week 2: June 16–20, 2025, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Graduation: June 20, 2025.

Cost: $300 per child ($275 per sibling) – preregistration required.

Spots Available: Limited to 20 participants.

What’s Included: T-shirt, hat, field trip, lunch at graduation, and graduation awards. (Parents must provide navy blue cargo shorts.)
